Alon’s Bakery and Cakes which in business since 1991, offer variety breads, cookies, desserts, other baked goods and drink menu such as chocolate truffle cake, chocolate croissants, Caesar salad, albacore tuna sandwich, soup, sandwich, desserts, coffee, wines, and another various drinks. The breads are wonderful and the sandwiches are great. Try the Caesar salad with grilled chicken, albacore tuna sandwich with capers on baguette and the goat cheese sandwich and you won’t be disappointed. Alon’s is also have incredibly delicious sandwiches and sauces like black bean dip and roasted tomato sauce. They are especially known for their sauces and spreads that come with their sandwiches. There crab cake night special is a great value and the crab cakes are all white lump meat, not much filler. Captain Larrys got a great little menu with some of the best burgers around and a really good Caesar salad. Here, regular favorites are the chicken sandwich, the awesome crab cakes, the Caesar salad, and the steamed shrimp. It’s good and not too expensive. In addition to the food being great everyone is very friendly, the bar has a good home-town feeling and they have good drinks. A great dark, nautical and genius bar. Blue Star Cafeteria has fabulous menu such as Blue Star House Salad, crispy chicken breast and honey-glazed pork chops. The fried artichokes, was very tasty. The crunchy cod is also quite amazing and the pie is great too. The food has been excellent both times (breakfast once and meatloaf another time). Blue Star got good selection of breakfast items and some unique twists too. Do not forget to try Mexican Vanilla cake as dessert.
